Who we are
The International Turon Federation (ITF) is a non-profit international non-governmental organization registered under the laws of the United States of America, with its seat at 8778 Bay Parkway, 2nd floor, Brooklyn, NY 11214, USA. The ITF operates this website at itf-turon.com.
What we collect
We collect only what you send us. When you complete the membership application form we receive the federation or organisation name, country, the name of its president or head, a contact person, an email address and, if you provide them, a telephone number, website, year of foundation, approximate number of athletes and your message. When you use the news submission form we receive your name, email address, country, headline and the text you write. Our server also records the IP address and country from which a form was submitted, which we use solely to detect automated abuse.
What we do not collect
This website does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for marketing.
Why we process it
We process membership applications in order to assess affiliation to the Federation and to correspond with you about it. We process news submissions in order to verify and, where appropriate, publish the information. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in governing the sport of Turon and, where you have contacted us voluntarily, your consent.
Who can see it
Submissions are delivered to the Secretariat at info@itf-turon.com and may be stored in the Federation's records. Two service providers process the data on our behalf: Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and form handling) and Resend (email delivery). They act on our instructions and may not use the data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Membership applications are retained for as long as the affiliation relationship exists and for a further six years thereafter, as part of the Federation's governance records. News submissions that are not published are deleted within twelve months.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Write to info@itf-turon.com and quote the reference number shown when you submitted the form. We reply within thirty days.
International transfers
The Federation has its seat in the United States and its administration also operates from Uzbekistan. If you write to us from elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and processed in these countries.
Children
The forms on this website are intended for federation officials and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website. Data concerning young athletes is handled by national federations under their own policies and under the ITF Competition Rules.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date shown above. Material changes will be announced in the news section.
